Todd's understanding of human physiology, and of the physical and mental demands of training, makes it feel like I've got a whole team behind me. I've had a big jump in work capacity, and I've PB'd my 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon since working with him, plus new levels in HYROX.Read more

I feel stronger, fitter and so much more confident in my training and running. Elite 15 Doubles, HYROX APAC Championships 2026. Multiple event wins and podium flags across Solo and Doubles
Todd's coaching is elite - not only in his extensive knowledge and application of this knowledge as a coach (he ALWAYS explains the why) but also in how individualised it is. 12 months, using Vo2 Max/lactate testing as a guide, we looked at my strengths and weaknesses as an athlete, and set goals. The program he developed not only targeted these goals, but was adjusted constantly based on my crazy, changing schedule of a full-time working single mother of 2. 12 months on and the results speak for themselves. His coaching is one of a kind.Read more
Meet the team
23 Hyrox flags and counting. Sub-3 marathons, countless PBs, and plenty more to come.

Todd, founder and coach. I support HYROX and running athletes, and I write every program myself. Guided by your data, and built to fit you and your week.

Jack, coach. Strength and conditioning with senior football athletes, and coaching for runners and HYROX competitors. He races HYROX Pro himself, with podiums and flags across APAC, so he knows what the training has to hold up against.
Is 1:1 coaching right for me?+
If you want to get the most out of your training and your racing, yes. It suits athletes who want a plan built around them rather than a template, and who want to get better over the long term rather than just get through the next race. It also suits people who want help with the things around the training: recovery, nutrition, fuelling, and the choices that shape their performance.
How is this different to following a program?+
A program is written once. Coaching is written as you go. I keep eyes on your training through your data in TrainingPeaks and what you tell me, so the plan changes as your fitness and your week change. You've got me on WhatsApp and email day to day, plus a fortnightly call where we go through what's working and what needs to shift.
What if my week is inconsistent? I travel, I work shifts, I've got kids.+
That's a good reason to be coached rather than a reason not to be. Life moves and the plan moves with it. The point of having a coach is that someone shapes the training around your limits instead of leaving you to guess which session to drop. You only get fitter from training you can recover from, so the work is built around what your week can take.
What if I pick up a niggle or an injury?+
We adjust and keep you moving. There's almost always something you can do, so we scale back or swap sessions to work around it and make the most of what's left rather than stopping altogether. Where it's needed I'll point you toward a physio or similar. The aim is getting you back to full training sooner, without losing sight of the longer-term goal.
What actually happens on the call?+
Twenty minutes. I want to learn a bit about you, what you're chasing, and what your training looks like now. You can ask whatever you want about me, about Fortis, and about how I program and coach. It's a chance for both of us to work out whether it's a good fit before either of us commits to anything.
How long am I committing for?+
At least one full build. Fitness is built over months, not weeks, and a few weeks of programming and coaching won't show you much. Beyond that I'd rather work with you for the long haul than the short one, because that's where the real gains sit.
